I am working on a project where I have to build a desktop application from scratch to map flood hazard zones. I want to know if its possible to build an application in Microsoft Visual Studio using MapWinGIS ActiveX Control. If not, are there any other possibilities?

are you aware that ActiveX controls are became obsolete in these days even in IE, and other browser do not support it anyway?
