How to detect credit card using opencv in android

I am quite new to image processing but due to an urgent requirement needs to work on opencv to detect credit card edges then only that image can be saved to the web server and no noise remains in the background. I have followed all the samples provided along with opencv framework in android but nothing matches my exact requirement. If I use Blob detection then boundaries are not clear and when I use canny edges all the stuff gets detected. If anyone has been through a similar thing kindly help, since I being an Android app developer doesn't really know image processing and the various algorithms designed for it.
