How Do I Get Jquery Selectable To Work On Mobile Web Application

Hi

I would like to know how can i get Jquery selectable to work on a mobile web application. I have used the same code as http://jqueryui.com/selectable/#display-grid[^] the only function that works on the mobile application is the selection of each element/grid block.I would like to be able to select multiple blocks/elements also i would like to be able to drag and as i drag allow multiple elements to be selected as in the sample of the link.

Is there a way to do this on mobile or a Jquery mobile version of this

Is this possibly a browser-specific issue? Which browsers have you tested it in?

I have tested it on Chrome(Android),Opera Mini(Android),FireFox(Android)
