Moderator - Please undelete my qustion on MFC in the Quick Answers section and delete that in C/C++/MFC section.

I happen to have stumbled on the C/C++/MFC section today. I never knew it existed. I have always known of and used the quick answers section. I don't even know how to navigate to the question I posted, so I prefer that the version in the C/C++/MFC forum be deleted rather than the one in the Quick Answers section.

Well, I don't know how to undelete it. I'd appreciate you telling me how to undelete it myself, if you prefer that.

That's not a good idea - bot your post should be removed and you should put some effort and rearrange you question...Without that massive code/error dump!

I don't know how to edit/improve post in the C/C++/MFC question?
Can you tell me how?

Firstly, you have valid responses in the MFC forum - so although I could delete it, I'm not going to - it would delete the responses as well.

And frankly, if your QA question was the same as your MFC forum one, then I can tell why it no longer exists - that is a rude and unnecessary dump which borders on abuse given the number of other questions you have asked. So I wouldn't undelete it even if I could.

But...only the admins can undelete stuff, so you will have to ask them. They may be of the same opinion, given they are developers as well. To ask, try here: http://www.codeproject.com/suggestions.aspx[^]

"I wouldn't know how to find the previous post"

The easiest way to get to anything you have posted is to use your username.
Look in the top right of this page, and click the mouse on your name.
On the right hand side of the resulting page are your lists:

Articles	0
Tech Blogs	0
Messages	6 (Lurker)
Q&A Questions	249
Q&A Answers	0
Tips/Tricks	0
Comments	269

And if you click on any of them, you are taken to a list of those items.
249 questions? Good grief!

Posts in the Forums (such as the C++ forum) come under "Messages" - so click on that and you will get to another page, which shows the messages:

Library to display an image(jpg/gif/bmp) in 300 lines/8K of code (Article)

Each of the titles is a link, so for your C++ question, click on "Please what is wrong with this my MFC code, what am I doing wrong?" and it will take you straight to the question.

And if you scroll all the way down to the bottom of the question...keep going..keep going...you must be nearly there...no, still a ways to go...keep going...finally!
(See how annoying that is as a question? Would you want to answer that - or even read it?)
At the bottom (when you finally get there) it gives you options:

Click on "Edit" and you can change it.

Please how can one edit/improve post in the C/C++/MFC section. Also how does one navigate to a previous post in that section.

The reason I wanted the post deleted is because:
1. I don't know how to edit post in that section. Someone (over there) suggested I delete repetitions but I don't know how to do that.

2. I don't know how to navigate to the post from anywhere in code project. Each time I click the link to that discussion forum, I feel lost as to how to locate my post. Presently I am able to locate post there by clicking links on notification emails in my in-box. This means that if there were no responses, I wouldn't know how to find the previous post.

If you can give me some instructions on how to go about these, then I will have no need to have the post in that section deleted.

I would think that your question are easily auto-deleted due to many abuse reports from the members. But such things happen; and such reports can be wrong; and there can be many reasons to restore you question. Only you need to ask it about in different place, here: http://www.codeproject.com/suggestions.aspx[^].

I know, this is not a bug or a suggestion, but this is where you really can get help on that.

Next time, it would be a good idea to preserve your questions in your own record. Also, please try to improve your questions, to prevent reporting on them.

Good luck.

Can you see the element "Improve question" on this page, under your question?
