hi there
i wanna work with sql server 2008
so in the box of connect to server and then in the box of server name
type ((local)) and choose windows autountication .but this message box shows;

((
cannot connect to local...
))

now my question:
how to make a local server

to connect SQL server 2008 installed on your server,you can connect as

Server Name: .
Authentication:Windows Authentication

Please try with by using the dot(.) in the server name for the local database.
