I need to connect to oracle servers 10g and 11g using sqlplus from my Windows 2008 r2 machine. I installed Oracle 11g client in my machine. How should I connect to those machines?

Try this[^]

In general, you have to find tnsnames.ora file and set your own details. Usually there are tools directly for your IDE.

The file is in oracle/network directory by default.

If this helps please take time to accept the solution. Thank you
