here i am using asp menu in the master page,header i put image, in between image and menu has some gap, which is showing in Internet Explorer,but in google chrome looks perfect.. I want to corrct it the IE8.. please help anyone

It is probably a design (CSS) issue, but it is next to impossible to tell something specific without your relevant code...

Each browser has its own "internal" default styles. It just so happens that IE adds small margin to some elements (2px) by default. If you have custom styles, you should have "reset script" that sets margins, paddings etc...to zero, sets up default font size and similar other clean ups.

Without having more details about your design, the above is just a guess. It's not like IE lacks quirks and bugs. Check that your declaration defines HTML4 strict dtd. It will pull IE out of "quirks mode"
