How does mapping a server drive affects web.config

Hi All,

I am mapping a server drive to a new drive on file server. I can now see that the mapped drive is showing on the web server. I want that any files that I was accessing or uploading to web server drive should now point to file server drive. I believe that by doing this there will be no change in the web.config and the application will reach only the file server for files. Please let me know what changes do I have to make for this. I am working on a .net application and OS on web server is Windows XP while on file server is Windows 8. Thanks for help in advance.
