How do I get the AR.Drone video feed refresh

Im using the library libardrone from here: https://github.com/adetaylor/python-ardrone
I get it to connect and to get an image but it doesn't refresh for some reason. It shows that it is connected and has a 15 fps refresh rate but the image does not change.
