Hello,

My company seems to be at a standstill in our search to replace a program we've used for years.

In the past we had a Windows program linked to our phone system and an associated VBScript that, with the click of a button in our CRM, would load a contact's phone number into said program and "call" it (basically copy, paste, clicks the "call" button - all in the background).

Now that we've switched phone systems, this program is not available directly through our phone service. Instead, we've been provided with an Outlook plug-in that allows us to type a phone number into the box and hit call - very similar to before but without the "click-to-dial" functionality.

Ideally, we would like to "program" a button in our CRM that takes the phone number and places it into the box within the Outlook plug-in and then automatically "clicks" call.

Is this possible? Is it a modified version of our old VBScript that we're seeking? If not, are tutorials/articles/discussions about something like this or a type of company/consultant that we should be seeking? Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Tyler
