Json Date Type Loading To Kendo Grid. Its Sending Null Values For Date When I Try To Save Data.

I have three editable columns in a grid.
Date, Country and PinCode.

the grid gets populated by json action method.
the action method interacts with a table(sql server) tblCountries.
the date column is Datetype in tblCountries.
loads well ; shows correct data.
but....
In a row if I try to edit only PinCode and save, It sends null value for Date. hence "save" does not happen.
If i change the value for date on the ui and then change other values... It works well.
Can Anyone help ??
