License Question

I would like to use this software code on this website:
Calendar DayView Control[^]

Now I am trying to work out the licensed under The Code Project Open License (CPOL) as I am new to open source licenses.

Can I use this software with my free application and distribute it on the web, on my website with my software name as the form's name? Also are there any limitations or something I have to do to make it comply with the license?

Any replies would help me alot :cool:

I have asked about 2 weeks ago on the forum at the end of the article,
and re-written the question again on Friday with no reply,
thats why I wondered if anyone could help me outside the article?

Since you are asking a question related to one of the CodeProject article, I would suggest you to please use the forum present at the end of the article in order to reach author and get quick response. Rarely you will find authors reading this forum.

Please post the same at the article's message forum.

Fair enough. Under the CPOL as I understand it you can use it (change it if needed) and give it away if you so wish so long as you retain any copyright notices in the code and don't pass those sections as your own work.
