I have developed a virtual pet with some animations which is a dog stays at the right down corner of the desktop and reminds me of my calendar events and some other reminders. It also helps in stress release. It finds the user logged in by a technique of face recognition.
I need to use some AI parts which will help me through finding the exact user who has logged in and according to the user the pet should behave.
Any Idea?

Do you mean like clippy or that (strange) dog that came with Windows XP?

The Microsoft Agent (http://www.microsoft.com/PRODUCTS/msagent/main.aspx) product is discontinued so really this might not be a good use of your time?

Yes we all like this kind of questions. One sentence that could mean anything to you.

How? By writing code?
Can I? Don't know what you can or can't
Develop? Think about what you want, specify it, implement it
a Virtual? Virtual could mean virtually everything...
Pet? Ok something like the search "dog" from WinXP?
Windows Based? Ok, you know your target platform - good.
assistant? Assist by what?
program in C#? cool, why not C#

So maybe you take the time to formulate your idea and a concrete question, to get better answers than mine - Sorry for joking, this is not to offend you, but your current question isn't really a question to answer now.
