Hello,

My name is Rafael Brasil and I am trying to create a program for my Intranet. This program has to run on every employee's machine, each employee can change only his own status (enabled, away, available) like a messenger. But a manager will see this status on a page in the Intranet.
My question, do you have some tips how to do this?

Thanks

What have you tried so far? Where did you get stuck? If the answer is that you are stuck at the very start then, plainly, you have bitten off more than you can chew! What is your level of experience/skill?

This may not be the right solution for you, but instant messenging (IM) programs already show this status, which can be set by the user. Can you use that?

If you're looking for tips, as Hans said in his answer, this is a function that is similar to instant message programs. You may want to research these articles[^] on CP for ideas.
