Best way to handle concurrency issues. MVC app

Please advise me the type of concurrency handling I should use - optimistic or pessimistic. I plan to run an MVC app on a single machine with max of 8.000 members and at most 500 online users at once throught a day. For DAL I use Entity Framework

It's impossible for anyone but YOU to answer that question. There is no "best" in this situation. There is only what your business rules dictate should be appropriate.
