How to refresh a grid after downloading excel file.

Dear all,

I am creating a excel file by using response object and downloading it on downloads folder. Downloading is successful but when I tried to refresh grid after this download any postback is not firing and grid is not refreshing.

Plz provide me solution of this problem.

are you using any third party control or plain asp grid? how you bind the grid?

I am using normal gridview and using response object to download excel file. At end of download code i am calling response.close() functoin.
