Document Code Changes

I want to be able to create documentation on code changes. I need a good way to show all the code area that are effected by any change. I need some kind of tool that will show all of the branches from Interface to Function to Class to Store Procedure. I need to be able to show this code in a easy format which can be understood from a high level.

I am looking for something that can analyze the software to show all the Code Branching. I saw demo some year ago where the desktop application was analyze and you could see all the code associate. It use a tree view structure and it isolated the code and you would click on it and it would branch to that code. To actual see the code you would click on the node and drill down into the code.

I'm not familiar with any tools that do that. Have you searched google for possible options?

All modern source code repositories do this. You get a tree structure with your branches and application structures. You can then compare any/all of the branches. TFS also has an annotation view where it shows you who was the last person to make changes to a piece of code.

I use TFS for managing a team of software developers. It gives me full audit-ability and accountability of code changes within the repository. All linked to a back-log and task management framework and highly integrated with the MS productivity suite.

What more do you need?
