UI Differing on IE while code is same for both servers

favorite There are two servers QA and QC . While they both run correctly on Mozilla firefox by pasting URL for both servers. Problem arises when internet explorer is used as for QA it works fine but for QC its UI gets disturbed. I tried clearing cache and cookies and even checking the permissions for IIS of both servers . Those were quite similar. Please guide me what else I can do. I used IE developer tool to see both servers UI all I deducted was that CSS was not loaded properly for the one not functioning properly.

In order to get over the issue please guide me what are the resons which cause improper loading of CSS

Did you check Compatibility Mode? Since the are on 2 different servers, 1 server might be added to the IE Compatibility Mode and the other not. I am guessing that both servers are running the same OS. Older versions of IIS can act funny with new IE, but work seamlessly with FF and Chrome.

I really hate Compatibility Mode.

yes OS is same , even both are on IE compatibility mode . Except that both work fine on Mozilla but issue is with IE. Since we are using IIS 7.5 version but that is for both the servers same. But one is not working good while one is on IE .

I just discovered that it was due to siteminder . As 443/https was not configured .
