Can anyone please help me to know the difference between ansi left join and left join with ((+)) syntax?Do they produce the same results when one is converted to other? And which one is the older one?

Difference between Oracle's plus (+) notation and ansi JOIN notation?[^]

The + syntax is older, and is only included for backwards-compatibility. It also has some restrictions which the ANSI JOIN syntax doesn't have.

Oracle recommend[^] that you only use the ANSI syntax.

Funnily enough, Oracle doesn't follow their own recommendations.
Should also mention that the optimizer doesn't always produce the same plan for Ansi and Implicit joins. Have been hit quite badly by that in the past.
