Hello-

I am looking to make a website, but before I actually start coding/learning the coding language recommended, I want to do some basic planning.I am fairly proficient in HTML and know some basic CSS, but anything beyond that is unknown to me.

This is for a school project, but I was interested in this before and want to take it further.

So, my website: I am looking to make a website that has many different pages (probably around 200) that are tagged with certain words/phrases. Someone can search for parameters that fit those tags, and will be recommended those pages. This would have to be updated regularly. I looked at things like wix, and they have very little to work with; I like coding my own websites anyway.

So, what would you expert coders recommend for this? Also, how long, given a fairly intelligent (or at least I would like to think so) person with 2 hours of learning time a day, would it take to learn enough of said language to craft the website.

Thanks so much!

This is not a technical question and so does not fit this forum. If you are serious look at Joomla or Drupal or some other cms. Questions such as how long are absurd. How long will it take you to learn Mongolian?

Start with these tutorials at w3schools http://www.w3schools.com/[^]

Even if you master these languages, still it's better to use tools and frameworks to help you build the site and use coding where you need to add/change custom features and functionality.
