It looks like Youtube put some considerable effort in obfuscation of the HTTP requests actually used for downloading. They changed their mechanism from time to time. For better obfuscation? Maybe. At the same time, it's quite apparent that is you can watch the video, it is already downloaded to the local system you are watching. I am sure I could retrieve it, but, sorry, I'm not going to help you. Sorry again. What is it is legally protected? I just don't know. I would advise you to be extra careful: if you routinely embed the Youtube video on your site, I think this is the functionality intended to be provided, it still directs to the streaming from the Youtube. Very many sites do that. But if your publish a Youtube downloader on your site... It means serious responsibility. I would suggest that you checked up all the legal aspects of this extra carefully.

As already mentionned, it is almost sure that it is illegal... Those service are paid from publicity so it would not be fair to steal files and offer them to other users and bypass the system somehow.

First of all, please see my comment to the question. But in addition to my legal concerns, there is one much simpler thing: even if you download some video as MP3, the result… won't be video. "MP3" means "MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 Audio Layer III", an audio standard. :-)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3.

But yes, on top of it, you can "convert" audio into video and record this video. This is how: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_visualization. :-)

There are other ways to visualize audio:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waveform_monitor,
