See more: C++
Hi,

I am new driver writing and I am facing a problem. I want to make an http put request but whenever I include windows.h or winsock.h I get 102 errors. After searching on the internet, I found out that I cannot use these files in kernel-mode code.

Any clue how to make an http put request in kernel-mode native C++?

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

PS. I am using Winddk to build the miniport.

I have only dabbled with driver writing, but I do know that you can't just use user space code in the kernel. This means that you can't just include user space header files and hope it'll work.

Wouldn't it be easier if you wrote some kind of background user space process that you communicate with the driver, and performs the HTTP requests for you?
