how to check a date from table 1 is between the values of startdate and enddate in table 2.

I have 4 tables on which I need to write a trigger, I have to start from table 1 and join with table 2 then check whether a date from one of the columns in table 2 exists between the two date columns in table 3 then connect with table 4.

kindly help me in solving this, your help is much appreciated.
