DLL loading in Assembly error

I am not able to add assembly of msvcr90.dll.

Getting the below error :
Could not load file or assembly 'msvcr90.dll' or one of its dependencies. The module was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Solution 1

This file is not a module of an assembly. This file is a part of Microsoft Visual C Runtime Link Library, it has nothing to do with CLR. It is extremely unlikely that you really need to use this file. If you explain your goal, you may get more help.
