I agree VB.Net can be easier but whatever our individual opinion everybody will have to migrate to C# sooner or later. As for the semi-colon it quickly becomes an automatism: I often even put some in

Thanks for your positive comment and your diverging opinion. ;) As a language VBA is IMHO as great as C# but Microsoft had to choose only one: C# has been specifically designed to mimic Java and C++
