Scryber will work with VS 2008. For the moment - If you install for VS 2010 then copy the Scryber directory templates from My Documents\Visual Studio 2010\Templates\ItemTemplates\[Project Types]

There are some great tools already out there that you can simply point to a web page and out spits a PDF document looking pretty close to the final article, most using printer drivers and ghostscript.

iText and it's sibling iTextSharp are complex, mature, stable and accomplished products. To be asked to compare is actually an achievement for Scryber, but my view is so biased it would not be proper
