Agree.. In this case the SelectNodes returns IEnumerable items , we are expecting it to return zero or more items but sure not NULL's.. Yes this could be a bad design, even I faced the same issue.

There is no workaround. You have to either specify credit or debit card information while registering for free trial or pay as you go azure account. Try with your debit card that should work for yo

There is an easy way, Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then either shutdown the whole system or kill process that you wish. No need to worry what is running behind the screen :) Ranjan
