The error is because of hard coded strings in the layout file. You should add strings in a resource file and reference them from the layout file. Hope that helps you.

Hello, Sorry for the late reply. As you know the BitmapEffect class is obsolete from .Net framework 4.0 onwards. As an alternative, you can use the significantly efficient Effect class. Regards.
