Reflexil is an assembly editor and runs as a plug-in for Reflector or JustDecompile. Reflexil is able to manipulate IL code and save the modified assemblies to disk. Reflexil also supports "on-the-fly" C#/VB.NET code injection.

Reflector v7 is not free, but v6 is. Browse the web to find the last v6 version. Reflexil is now compatible with both. I'm also working on an ILSpy plugin.

No because using 'new' when declaring a field is just a 'compiler trick', if you decompile the code you will see that: - a 'stringbuilder' field is declared - initialization is done in the class const

- Launch Reflector then remove any previous Reflexil addin in the addin manager. - Close Reflector (instead it will keep an obsolete Reflexil.dll version in memory and will throw "TypeLoadException"

Reflexil is available as a plugin for Reflector and CecilStudio. There isn't any plan for a standalone application at this time.

Try with Reflexil 1.1. You have to select Reflexil.Reflector.dll instead of Reflexil.dll in order to properly load the plugin into Reflector.
