Remove splash screen of Visual Studio 2008 / 2010

By , 20 Feb 2011

Get Rid of the Splash Screen?
Here is the solution for you...

1. Go to the properties of your Visual Studio program icon from Start Menu.

2. Select Shortcut tab from property dialog box.

3. Add /nosplash to the end of the Target area.
(i.e., "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE\devenv.exe" /nosplash)

Now you can run Visual Studio. It will not show splash screen anymore!! :)
