Twitterizer for API v1.1

By , 18 Apr 2013

This is merely a heads up for those that are using Twitterizer for access to Twitter.

Twitter will be shutting down support for v1.0 of their API. I went looking for the latest version of Twitterizer, and discovered that the project has been abandoned by the author, and no 1.1-compliant version will be developed.

I was faced with either changing Twitterizer myself, or utilizing a completely different library. Both are fairly daunting tasks, and I only have a couple of days to finish this task, so I searched for and found someone that had already changed Twitterizer to utilize the new API (v1.1).

Wonder of wonders, I found someone that did exactly that. They're from Asia somewhere (Japan?), and the web page I found it on uses an Asian font, but the word "downloads" was easy to find. :)

Go here for the source code:

Twitterizer-Remaked For API 1.1[^] (yes, that's the actual title)

The link to download the source code is on the right side of the page in the sidebar.

Good luck.

My weakest point is that my moments of clarity are too brief to hold a meaningful conversation that requires more than 30 seconds to complete. Thankfully, grunts of agreement are all that is required to conduct most discussions without committing to any particular belief system.
