When you click a variable it highlights all the references to that variable. You can press Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow or Down Arrow to move the cursor to the next or the previous reference of the variable. The highlight looks like...
When you click a variable it highlights all the references to that variable. You can press Ctrl + Shift + Up Arrow or Down Arrow to move the cursor to the next or the previous reference of the variable. The highlight looks like this:

you can customize the color of this to help stand out more by going to Tools > Options > Environment > Fonts And Colors > Display Items = Highlighted Reference.
