If we assume all news is "fake," are we more, or less, intelligent, ourselves ?

What do you consider "news"?
I prefer facts that can be validated using other independant sources. The rest are rumours.

It's not a "proper" one; it's exclusively for use by the bank to transfer money hither and yon, and with no anonymity (banks aren't allowed to make anonymous transfers).
Given that, I really can't see the point of it. They can transfer funds electronically, already, so using a blockchain only adds another layer to existing operations.
So it's either a typical Great New Idea that only makes things harder, or they've worked out how to use it to fiddle international taxes.
