Introduction

This simple app displays the time and weather in a minimal design aesthetic. This app also add the time and weather to the start screen, using live tiles. Simple, minimal, clean

Background

First thing that is missing from the start screen is a clock! This solves that problem.

Using the code

 function startTime() {

    var currentTime = new Date;
    var hours = currentTime.getHours();
    var minutes = currentTime.getMinutes();
    var seconds = currentTime.getSeconds();

    if (seconds == "0") {

    // Send the time to the live tile every minute
    sendTileTextNotification(time, today, day, d);

    }
}

// This updates the time every second
 setInterval(function () { startTime() }, 1000);
