Great app!! I'll just hope it won't be too hard to learn all that stuff, but still, makes a great, free app that I've been looking for for a long time now.
PS. Maybe it's time to make it public by opening project for eg. on github and get some general community help, not jut through codeproject?

Sorry for my poor english. Please consider adding these 3 new features:
1) Attached files area & preview (something like you can see in Outlook).
This is very good, because, often you have a task linked with more than one file, it’s useful because you can add folders, mails, etc. And... if it were possible ... would be nice if when you click on an attachment, you can see a "preview" of the file (as in "Outlook").
2) List of tasks next due area (or secondary filtered task list)
This is great: it’s a filtered list that only shows the task with the due date. And you can order these tasks by next due, showing how many days are left until they expire: 1 day, 3 days, 7, 13, etc.
I know that "To do list" has the option to filter tasks list by the due date. But my suggestion aims to have always in sight the tasks that are coming due (is VERY useful).
Having to "filter" each time to see tasks that are due soon loses usefulness.
I hope you can see the convenience of having (always visible) this kind of "secondary task list" (so that you have: a main "unfiltered" task list and, below, another "filtered").
Obviously, this “secondary list”, can be used according to the interest of each user . You can filter this list with other filtering criteria.
3) Time remaining: show exact number of days
I noticed that the "days remaining" a task with a due date are shown in the following format: "2w3d", "3m1d", etc.
It would be great if I could see exact numbers of days left instead of this. (13 days 47 days, 128 days, etc).
At least for me, this way "2w3d" is not practical or easy.

It would be great if I could see exact numbers of days left instead of this. (13 days 47 days, 128 days, etc). I can probably fix this easily because there is already a preference to Display 'Estimated/Spent' times in HMS format. So if this is _not_ set I'll display the time remaining in days, hours or minutes depending on what is most appropriate, else I'll leave it as it is.

Hello
1)
I agree on the "more than one link" it is sometime very handy to avoid putting it in the comment section.
For he previz I find it too much, todolist is not Outlook, soon you would ask to have a Send To feature...
2)
I use the 'list view' with the option of hiding parent tasks then I sort through due date.
The column order is independent from 'Task tree' so you can always see coming tasks.
However the filter is common so if you hide some tasks in one list, they are also hidden there (completed tasks for example)
3)
dealing with working days can also be interesting there: if something is due on monday at work and you are friday, time left is one day, not 3. (Time period is not taken into account there)

Thanks Loic for your opinion!

1) Ok, I understand that this could complicate the software and would require a lot of work. However, there is no denying the usefulness of this would have. Is it asking too much to TDL? maybe for now ... would not rule it for the future. I do not think it's something useful only for Outlook users. It is a very useful tool for those who have many files linked to a task. And I do not use Outlook for work. The "send to .." feature is a good idea haha

2) I know, but it's not exactly what I propose.
I have to have in sight permanently tasks due. A secondary list with a filtering criterion itself is something very useful, I think. At least for me it is.
Quote: However the filter is common...
Exactly, and this would be good if it were not for this "secondary list". This secondary list should have its own filtering criteria.

3) YES! you're right! Your suggestion is very useful!
