SQL SERVER – Solution – Puzzle – SELECT * vs SELECT COUNT(*)

Earlier I have published Puzzle Why SELECT * throws an error but SELECT COUNT(*) does not. This question have received many interesting comments. Let us go over few of the answers, which are valid.
