James W. Threadgill holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Behavior and a Master of Arts in Psychology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He graduated the B.S. Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies for his graduate work. He works as a web developer and has authored tutorials on web development for the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance and the Dynamic Zones. He co-authored the Glasshaus book Dreamweaver MX: ASP.NET Web Development released by Wrox Press February 2003.

His fiction first appeared in Raconteur in 1995 and since been published numerous times in literary magazines such as Hadrosaur Tales, Tales of the Talisman, Bayousphere, and Lucidity poetry journal. His collection of short fiction and poems, When Only the Moon Rages was released by Hadrosaur Productions in 2001. Most recently his poetry appeared in Tales of the Talisman Winter 2010 and Spring 2011 issues.
