I have been coding since the Apple II days and I have been doing this for a living since 1984. Software design and coding are my passions and I think of my job more as art than engineering.

I’ve done just about everything and had the pleasure of being a developer at Microsoft for 6.5 years. Working there was humbling and I learned a lot.

These days, I work as a contractor and consultant. The contract work pays the mortgage and the consulting lets me create. One of these days, I’ll find the right company and get a “real job”.

These days I spend most of my time in .NET and find the framework and technology liberating.
