I work as a software engineer at a financial services firm. Prior to my current employment, I worked for a small electronics company for several years where I had the opportunity to work with engineers from a variety of different disciplines. I began my career as a C++ programmer and did lots of Win32 and STL stuff. Eventually, I transitioned into being a .NET developer. At this stage, I’m doing my best to get familiar with the latest Microsoft initiatives, everything from WPF and WCF to software factories and functional languages.
