Designing complex systems to get the highest throughput is what Koushik loves and does at Yahoo Video Streaming Center. First love is C++, but that list has grown over time to include C# and Java. He has been working with Unix systems at Yahoo, but his prior experience with Windows allows him to seamlessly switch contexts. If he ever writes a book it will be either on Object Oriented Design or Evolution of Psychology - two topics which, he finds, are under-represented in the literary world.
An Electronics Engineer from Jadavpur University, he is father of twin daughters. Apart from spending time with work and projects, he loves cricket, Kishore Kumar, Bruce Willis, outdoor hiking, camping and fishing, Mediterranean food, sea beaches and his gas Grill.
