Unedited Reader Contributions

An "unedited" article is an article that has been posted directly to The Code Project using the submission wizard. No editor at The Code Project has edited or checked the article, its links or its content, hence there is a risk the article may not be up to the usual high standard of quality of a fully-edited The Code Project article. Unedited articles are currently located in their own subsection and are also listed at the end of the Table of Contents of the section to which they belong.

That being said, there are many unedited articles for which no editing is needed. Many authors follow our submission guidelines and post using the submission wizard in order to get their articles to you as quickly as possible. If you are reading an unedited article and it's already perfect then vote for it! This raises its profile to us and means we'll get around to editing it sooner.

Once an unedited article is checked and edited it is moved into the main sections. The time taken for an unedited article to be edited depends on the complexity of the article, the amount of editing required on the article, its user-rating and the current workload of the editors. We try and move as many as we can but sheer volume can swamp us!
