Purpose:    - Main class for the lexical analyzer.
            - Scans the input character stream for tokens.
            - Calls a call-back class ('cxTokenizerListener') for each
              recognized token.
            - Uses an incremental scan; should be pretty fast.
            - Can also parse computed tokens, like "text" and 1234.
