This is an example of a Custom Control that inherits from a TextBox and does a simple enhancement to the TextBox
<Application x:Class="KeyFilteredTextBox.App"
             xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
             xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
             StartupUri="MainWindow.xaml">
    <Application.Resources>

    </Application.Resources>
</Application>
