    ACTIVE TEMPLATE LIBRARY : GemCardEx Project Overview
========================================================================

AppWizard has created this GemCardEx project for you to use as the starting point for
writing your Dynamic Link Library (DLL).

This file contains a summary of what you will find in each of the files that
make up your project.

GemCardEx.vcproj
    This is the main project file for VC++ projects generated using an Application Wizard.
    It contains information about the version of Visual C++ that generated the file, and
    information about the platforms, configurations, and project features selected with the
    Application Wizard.

GemCardEx.idl
    This file contains the IDL definitions of the type library, the interfaces
    and co-classes defined in your project.
    This file will be processed by the MIDL compiler to generate:
        C++ interface definitions and GUID declarations (GemCardEx.h)
        GUID definitions                                (GemCardEx_i.c)
        A type library                                  (GemCardEx.tlb)
        Marshaling code                                 (GemCardEx_p.c and dlldata.c)

GemCardEx.h
    This file contains the C++ interface definitions and GUID declarations of the
    items defined in GemCardEx.idl. It will be regenerated by MIDL during compilation.
GemCardEx.cpp
    This file contains the object map and the implementation of your DLL's exports.
GemCardEx.rc
    This is a listing of all of the Microsoft Windows resources that the
    program uses.

GemCardEx.def
    This module-definition file provides the linker with information about the exports
    required by your DLL. It contains exports for:
        DllGetClassObject
        DllCanUnloadNow
        GetProxyDllInfo
        DllRegisterServer
        DllUnregisterServer

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Other standard files:

StdAfx.h, StdAfx.cpp
    These files are used to build a precompiled header (PCH) file
    named GemCardEx.pch and a precompiled types file named StdAfx.obj.

Resource.h
    This is the standard header file that defines resource IDs.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Proxy/stub DLL project and module definition file:

GemCardExps.vcproj
    This file is the project file for building a proxy/stub DLL if necessary.
	The IDL file in the main project must contain at least one interface and you must
	first compile the IDL file before building the proxy/stub DLL.	This process generates
	dlldata.c, GemCardEx_i.c and GemCardEx_p.c which are required
	to build the proxy/stub DLL.

GemCardExps.def
    This module definition file provides the linker with information about the exports
    required by the proxy/stub.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Other notes:

	The MFC Support option builds the Microsoft Foundation Class libraries into your skeleton application,
	making MFC classes, objects and functions available to you.
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Singapore Singapore
Software Architect, COM, .NET and Smartcard based security specialist.

I've been working in the software industry since I graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I chose software because I preferred digital to analog.

I started to program with 6802 machine code and evolved to the current .NET technologies... that was a long way.

For more than 20 years I have always worked in technical positions as I simply like to get my hands dirty and crack my brain when things don't go right!

After 12 years in the smart card industry I can claim a strong knowledge in security solutions based on those really small computers!
I've been back into business to design the licensing system for the enterprise solution for Consistel using a .NET smart card (yes they can run .NET CLR!)

I'm currently designing a micro-payment solution using the NXP DESFire EV1 with the ACSO6 SAM of ACS. I can then add a full proficient expertise on those systems and NFC payments.
This technology being under strict NDA by NXP I cannot publish any related article about it, however I can provide professional consulting for it.

You can contact me for professional matter by using the forum or via my LinkedIn profile.
