WMEncScrnCap:
This application captures the screen using the Windows Media Encoder.

Run the application choose start from the capture menu. When prompted to save the file choose a video file with extension wmv or choose a new file.

This application uses WindowsMediaScreen9 Codec for encoding the screen content.

To Run this application the system requires Media Encoder 9 to be installed.

However to view the produced content, output.wmv by default, windows media player 9 or  higher is required.

The Windows Media Encoder can be downloaded from: (this is also required)

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx

You can redistribute the Windows Media Encoder with your application.
