World’s Fastest Server,
post an article on The Code Project, and you could win a dedicated server for

Here’s how: write an article, build an app that consumes the data feed from
the World’s Fastest Server. What’s the World’s Fastest Server? It’s a custom
drag bike…a fully electric drag bike that will go from 0 to REALLY REALLY fast
in less than two seconds. This bike will serve Web data while in motion,
including:
- Web Cam images
- GPS tracking and location
- Virtual instrument cluster (Speed, Battery power, etc.)
… and all of this data is exposed to you!
Here are the details:
Write a great article explaining how you built an app to consume the
bike’s data – complete with code -- and post it in any .NET or LAMP (Linux, Apache,
MySQL, or PHP) section, and if yours is the highest rated article by both The
Code Project community and our judges, you win a dedicated server for life!

- Your article should include screen shots and code samples
- Your article must incorporate data from the bike (code against
this sample data feed:

- Post your article in the any .NET or LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, or PHP) area on
The Code Project to automatically be entered in the contest.
Codeproject.com members can vote on your article. The articles that are
highest-rated by members will be rated by our judges to determine the final
winner.
By entering your article in the contest you agree that The Code Project and
HostMySite.com can link to your article and all accompanying data or information
for promotional purposes.
As part of the contest, HostMySite.com will provide you a free hosting account to showcase your application! When you sign up for the hosting account, you will need to provide basic information and agree to HostMySite.com’s terms of service. The free hosting account can only be used for this content. The Rules
- Articles must follow the guidelines listed above.
- The articles can be any language but must use one of the .NET or LAMP
technologies (Linux, Apache, MySQL or PHP).
- No cheating, lying, stealing code, ferret wrestling, or biting.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered
into.
- Only those who live in jurisdictions in which this contest is legal may
enter.
- Any breach of the rules and the prize will be awarded to the runner up.
- The contest runs from 6 February 2009 to 30 April 2009, at 11:59:59 PM
US Eastern Standard Time. After the contest closes, no additional entries
will be permitted.
- By entering the contest you agree to the rules, conditions of entry, and
agree that your name, member profile information, article, code and any
other submitted material can be used for promotional purposes by The Code
Project and HostMySite.com.
