They don't need to be used in an attempt to GENERALIZE Adam Smith as a A, B or C. That's what you think has to happen, and for someone of limited mental capacity like you it makes sense that you must GENERALIZE everything and everyone down to one of 3 or 4 things so that you can deal with it.
This was the link you provided as your support to the claim that Adam Smith supported government interventionism: Adam Smith, Socialists and Liberals[^].
Like it or not, there are two prevailing and competing economic theories governing the free world and virtually all views CAN be categorized into either. The world moved from laissez-faire to Keynesian economics (basically a justification of the interventionism and consequently socialism that reigned under FDR). The US and some other nations moved back to laissez-faire/economic libertarianism because of Milton Friedman. Take your pick.

What he said seems to confirm Smiths capitalist notions, spreading prosperity to the masses. If intervention in the name of capitalism is too much of a contradiction, then I give up. I have a serious hangover.

Yes, but Mike was promoting the view that even Adam Smith would have supported the modern socialistic view that human 'goodness' is best expressed via state managed political mechanisms than via a more private, grassroots moral point of view such as Christianity.
Nothing in the entire universe is more useless than morality without authority.
A morality free of hyprocrisy is no morality at all.

Capitalism inherently spreads prosperity to the masses, which is what Adam Smith observed. My response was motivated as much by who responded by simply what he responded as led mike advocates intensive government economic intervention. I think he confused economic regulation with financial transparency.

Murphy calls to see his mate Paddy who has a broken leg. Paddy says, "Me feet are freezing mate, could you nip upstairs and get me slippers?" "No bother," he says, and he runs upstairs and there are Paddy's two stunning 19 year old twin daughters sat on their beds. "Hello dere girls, your Da' sent me up here to shag ya both." "Fook off you liar!". "I'll prove it," Murphy says. So he shouts down the stairs, "Both of them, Paddy?" "Of course, what's the use of fookin' one?"

I saw some stuff about the buzzy thieving T*&t Bas&**(^s over the past couple of days but wasn't really paying attention. That all changed when I checked my hotmail this morning ( Thanks for the heads up Colin ) and I find that some of my stuff has been knicked.
Of course this puts a whole new complexion on the matter and something must be done. The retards didn't even cut and paste it properly it took me ages to get those images right and the butt munchers have completely cropped them.
Can Chris use his powers as Interweb God to smite them or are we just going to have to sit here and vent?

I managed to speak to a "representitive" in india via msn on software@logicindia.net - i vented at him a bit but you should give 'em what for.
You can also contact the administrative contact for the relevant domains. You should also check www.dotnetspider.com for stolen articles.

His response was twofold.
1) That articles are submitted by visitors to their website and that the owners were not themselves responsible for the plagarization (Im in 2 minds whether I believe this). He felt that their offering prizes for articles submitted had led to this problem.
2) He would notify the relevant site owners about the fact that many articles had been ripped of.
He also asked me how I thought it was possible to stop such behaviour and I responded that it was their responsibility as site owners to have an editorial process that stops this happening. (They do check each article as its posted). He did not think it was possible to stop, but I reminded him that most would be caught by doing a google search for the most interesting/unique phrases within the article. He agreed that this was a good idea.
Im sorry, but I did not save the conversation (which would have been a good idea with hindsight)
The interesting point is, that even though id got the contact info from BuzzyCode, he first responded to my MSN request by saying he was the tech representitive for dotnetspider. Then tried to claim he was only speaking for buzzycode, until I reminded him of how he had started the conversation.
Its all very intertwined, but we worked that out yesterday.

Outrageous wasters[^]
Joanna, Dan and Andy descend on a household of wasters to assess just how bad they are based on what they see in the house, by ‘interrogating’ them and from the evidence of a waste diary that the family has compiled.
The family then spends up to five days living at ‘the house of correction’ - a purpose built eco-camp of large traditional Mongolian yurts (tents) - where they live without creature comforts and have Joanna and Dan teaching how them to waste as little as possible and how to live off the land.
Great to see that license fee being well spent on balanced and informative programming, the BBC continues to amaze me with its ability to propagandise. At least its themes of inquisition and internment in an education camp are prescient.

When googling for some nice and fun conspiracy videos to watch, I found this:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4360800110742625275&q=conspiracy+occult&total=212&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1[^]
Conspiracy of the occult Nazis.
Ive never ever heard anything about that before. Ofcourse I know about the über mench stuff. but did they really beleive that the original "aryan" race was decended angels living on atlantis?
Since this is a conspiracy video once can ofcourse assume that 99% of whats said in it is made up by some lunatic.
But I know very little on the religious aspect of nazi germany. were they atheists? christian? occultists?
And what about the civilians during this time? was there any change in religious view among the "normal" people in germany at this time?

It certainly did exist but I think that the occultism was limited to some members of the upper hierarchy. I imagine that the general population were more concerned with keeping their heads down and surviving.

I think if the generally Christian populaion had known the extent of the upper echelons occultism they would have lost a lot of support. They would be also be suspected of eating babies, just like the dirty Jews.

In the UN Headquarters[^]
The United Nations found potentially lethal vials of a chemical warfare agent, removed from Iraq a decade ago, in offices near its New York headquarters but officials said on Thursday there was no danger. CONSPIRACY!!!!!

I think maybe its time to move the UN to somewhere outside the US. Maybe into a country whose citizens think its worth a damn.

That would be pretty much anywhere else in the world, actually. We created the UN and should be honored for it to be on American soil.
