Sean Ewington is the Content Manager for CodeProject.
His background in programming is primarily C++ and HTML, but has experience in other, "unsavoury" languages.
He loves movies, and likes to say "inconceivable" often, even if it does not mean what he thinks it means.

I attended St. Michael's College of the University of Toronto, with the intention of becoming a priest. A friend in the University's Computer Science Department got me interested in programming, and I have been hooked ever since.
Recently, I have moved to Los Angeles where I am doing consulting and development work.

Chris is the Co-founder, Administrator, Architect, Chief Editor and Shameless Hack who wrote and runs The Code Project. He's been programming since 1988 while pretending to be, in various guises, an astrophysicist, mathematician, physicist, hydrologist, geomorphologist, defence intelligence researcher and then, when all that got a bit rough on the nerves, a web developer. He is a Microsoft Visual C++ MVP both globally and for Canada locally.
His programming experience includes C/C++, C#, SQL, MFC, ASP, ASP.NET, and far, far too much FORTRAN. He has worked on PocketPCs, AIX mainframes, Sun workstations, and a CRAY YMP C90 behemoth but finds notebooks take up less desk space.
He dodges, he weaves, and he never gets enough sleep. He is kind to small animals.
Chris was born and bred in Australia but splits his time between Toronto and Melbourne, depending on the weather. For relaxation he is into road cycling, snowboarding, rock climbing, and storm chasing.
Born at an early age, he grew older. At the same time, his hair grew longer, and was tied up behind his head.
Has problems spelling the word "the".
Invented the portable cat-flap.
Currently, has not died yet. Or has he?
I've been a programmer since mid 80's using languages like assembler, C/C++, PL/I (mainframe environment), pascal, VB (I know, I know, no comments please) and C# and utilizing different techniques and tools.
However I'm specialized in databases and database modeling. Mostly I have used products like Oracle (from version 6), SQL Server (from version 4.2), DB2 and Solid Server (nowadays an IBM product).
For the past 10+ years my main concerns have been dealing with different business processes and how to create software to implement and improve them. At my spare time (what ever that actually means) I'm also teaching and consulting on different areas of database management, development and database oriented software design.
He is the founder & CEO of MNH Technologies and working for urban and rural sectors to improve people’s lifestyle, better medical facilities, education, social business etc. He has over ten years of professional experiences in design and developing Client-Server, Multi-Tier, Database, Web based business software solutions, Enterprise Applications, API, WebAPI, Google Analytics implementation, Add-In, Documentation & Technical Writing etc for Windows / Mac using Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySql, PS, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, PHP, RoR, Visual Basic etc. He has also more than two years experience in Mobile-VAS (Platform Development).
He worked for various software development & technology consulting. His core focus on technologies to create dynamic data-driven systems that add value to your business and dynamic technology consulting that builds advanced solutions for the industries across the various vertices.
He also work as a Solution Architect at Dhrupadi Techno Consortium Limited (DTCL) and responsible for analyzing business requirements and offered optimum solutions (multiple options), which would address all current requirements, provide flexibility for future growth and allow smooth transition between old system and new system.
He graduated with honors from The University of Asia Pacific, in Computer Science and Engineering. He was awarded as “Most Valuable Professional” (MVP) at 2010 and 2011 by CodeProject.com and also selected as a Mentor of CodeProject.com
Specialties: Software Development Management, System Integration, Data Warehouse Architecture, Virtualization.
I have been developing Windows applications since Windows 3.1. I have also spent a large amount of time developing on embedded and mobile devices running OSes such as WinCE, Windows Mobile, Linux, and VxWorks. Still my preference is Win32 programming with the WTL framework.
My favorite types of programming take advantage of the graphics subsystems and create very intuitive and enjoyable user interfaces.
I have known about template meta-programming for quite some time, and have investigated its uses. Lately I have come to the conclusion that it can be used elegantly in a production solution to create a robust and maintainable solution. This seems to be what I spend the majority of my abstract thinking time on.
I've been programming in C, C++, Visual Basic and C# for over 25 years. I've worked at Sierra Systems, ViewStar, Mosaix, Lucent, Avaya, Avinon, Apptero and now Serena in various roles over my career.
There was a time, before all that, when I was a foosball player, then a litigation attorney. My wife gave me a Tornado foosball table for my birthday, so I'm starting to feel the power again!

I was a Software Support Engineer for many years using various legacy enterprise systems before learning UNIX and Windows programming - the latter largely in my own time. In my last few years of employment I spent more time in actual development.
Since retiring I have been learning some of the newer technologies (C#, .NET, WPF, LINQ, SQL ...) that I never used in my professional life, and am actually able to understand some of it.
One day I hope to become a real programmer.
I am a Software Engineer and Microsoft .NET technology enthusiast. Professionally I worked on several business domains and on diverse platforms. I love to learn and share new .net technology and my experience I gather in my engineering career. You can find me from here

Michael Crump is a Silverlight MVP and MCPD that has been involved with computers in one way or another for as long as he can remember, but started professionally in 2002. After spending years working as a systems administrator/tech support analyst, Michael branched out and started developing internal utilities that automated repetitive tasks and freed up full-time employees. From there, he was offered a job working at McKesson corporation and has been working with some form of .NET and VB/C# since 2003.
He has worked at Fortune 500 companies where he gained experience in embedded systems design and software development to systems administration and database programming, and everything in between.
His primary focus right now is developing healthcare software solutions using Microsoft .NET technologies. He prefers building infrastructure components, reusable shared libraries and helping companies define, develop and automate process standards and guidelines.
You can read his blog at: MichaelCrump.net or follow him on Twitter at @mbcrump.
I started as an electronic engineer and moved into programming in 1989, was fascinated by Internet and developed my first web application in 1997.
When Microsoft introduced C# I became its fan and am not disappointed by now.
As for the hobbies, except of course reading, I love skiing and horse riding.
