That instead of more features .NET would focus on the core libraries documentation and better access to hardware, etc, rather than focusing SOLELY on RAD at the expense of documenting there work and making the libraries more usable.
 
Nothing like an MSDN example that doesn't compile or run correctly on any version of a MS product, ever.
