This forum is for questions related to programming. Your vague "question" is off topic for this forum.
Wes Aday at 7 hrs ago View

I looked at the actual question. For C++ you need to find yourself a Big Integer class to use, read the file, for each line convert the text to your big integer then substring the first 10 digits from the total. All of that should be fewer lines than you posted here.
Wes Aday at 8 hrs ago View

I guess I don't understand what your question is. Why don't you read a line, substring the first 10 characters which are the digits you are looking for and use that? You don't need these for loops at all.
Wes Aday at 11 hrs ago View

Yes I have. How does that make your not-a-question any clearer? What code have your written? What is the problem with the code that you have written? Have you done any research at all?
Wes Aday at 11 hrs ago View

You should make some sort of effort to do your homework before resorting to cheating. If you do not understand your assignment then you should be asking your teacher. That is his job, to teach you, not our job.
Wes Aday at 11 hrs ago View

Okay finished. Why are you screaming at people?

Yes it is off topic. What drawing program to use to create a drawing has nothing at all to do with this website or this forum.
Wes Aday at 17 hrs ago View

Why not asking whomever made this designer?
Wes Aday at 17 hrs ago View

The best practice is not to repost the same off-topic not-a-question over and over. This was off topic the first time you posted and it's still off topic. As you have already been told, use whatever drawing package you want. This has nothing to do with programming.

http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/64628/Code-Project-Quick-Answers-FAQ pay attention to section 4 item 2.

And what is the email address of your teacher where I should send the code so I can get a good grade?
Wes Aday at 19 hrs ago View

Do you think that it's within the realm of possibility that the OP solved his problem 4 years ago and is not still waiting for someone to come along 4 years later with a solution?
Wes Aday at 19 hrs ago View

Why would you write an entire program if all you want to do is make a drawing? Use powerpoint, word, paint or whatever else you want to use to make a drawing.
Wes Aday at 19 hrs ago View

Uhm.... might be because you messed something up. What that was we can't tell you. We can't see your code, your screen or read your mind.
Wes Aday at 19 hrs ago View

That would greatly depend on what you have done, what the actual problem is with your code and what you think a "grid app" is.

Random strangers on the internet are not the support people for every hardware vendor on the face of the planet. The best people to help you are the people that know something about the hardware. If you contact is on vacation then either wait or get another contact.

Sorry to have wasted your time. I am unable to read your mind to know what it is that you have and have not done to fix your problem.

If you do not know, how could you have written this code to begin with? How would you expect us to know anything about your code? We can't see your code or read your mind.

Okay... suggest what? If you are removing the data from the file manually then what is there to "suggest"? Open the file with whatever editor you have, select the data you want to delete, delete it, save the file.

Why are you not asking google?

So use TryParse to attempt to convert the string to a numeric and if it fails then you have your culprit.

The point is, it depends on the implementation. Some have separate pre-processors, some do not. Anyway, it doesn't matter. The OP could have found the answer himself if he had just bothered to look for himself.
Wes Aday at 2 days ago View

There probably is a better way. A DataGrid can handle a lot of data and only takes one binding. You can have multiple ViewModels also. All depends on your project.... which we know nothing about.

Did you include the database in your setup? Did you include the drivers for SQLite in your setup? You might read the documentation for whatever you are using to create your setup package and see if there is any information in there. Maybe there is a community or support forum for whatever you are using to create your setup that you can ask there for help.

Debug your code, find out where the error is, fix the error.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Hard to tell in the midst of your unreadable unformatted code dump but the error message is clear and means what it says. So, what is your question exactly?

Don't use string concatenation to create SQL queries. That is a way for people to attack your database to do nasty things to it.

Don't you think that knowing the exception is kind of important to your problem? And maybe posting the bit of code that throws the mystery exception?

Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Yeah we would get that idea from your previous vague "question". Why is reposting this any better? Did you do any research at all? Have you written any code? Do you have a specific question regarding a problem with your code? Please read the FAQ for hints on how to ask a question.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

A null reference where?
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Seeing that we do not have access to your database or your data, what is it exactly that you would expect us to be able to tell you based on this? Fix your query so that it returns the data you want.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

No. Why is it that you understand that we won't write your code for you and then you turn around and then request us to write your code for you? At the risk of sounding repetitive, if the manufacturer cannot or will not help you, get another vendor.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Connect to your database, execute a query against your database passing parameters if your need to, display the result on your web page.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

And what is it that you expect us to do for you? "can't get it to work" is not a question or a description of a problem. If the manufacturer cannot or will not help you, then get your money back and find a different vendor. No one here is going to write your code for you if that is what you are looking for.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Okay so what? Go read the documentation!
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Read the documentation for your device and/or contact the manufacturer.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Make sure that the file is read/writeable before you create the setup. You could check the file before you use it and change the file permissions. If the user is installing it in Program Files then the OS is going to tell you that access is denied.

Sure... learn to use google. It's wonderful tool that allows you to search the internet for tutorials, links, samples, and just about any other information you want to know. We are not google, not your research assistants and not a tutorial finding service.
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Unless you are willing to share some sort of a problem then I am not seeing where the question is. You have code that you apparently copied/pasted from somewhere and you don't know what it does?
Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

No one at code project, or anywhere else, can see your code, look over your shoulder and debug your code for you. Debugging your code is your responsibility not ours. No sure why you think that we would automagically know what your delete method is doing without showing us or even describing an actual problem.

Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Wes Aday at 3 days ago View

Help you with what? You have not asked a question or described any kind of a problem. Do some research, write some code yourself. Then if you run into an actual problem, come back and ask that.

No one needs to know your contact information. Spammers might but we don't.
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

And you get to explain all of this in a forum posting to a copy/paste programmer... :-)
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Shouldn't have to. Basic .NET programming pre-101.
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Be my guest. I don't see any reason to try and explain this any more than it's an empty list.....
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

And so? That creates a completely empty list. What is it that you think the count of items would be in an empty list?
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Probably not working because you are using the count of a completely empty list as your control.
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Apparently you do not. How would you expect us to tell you anything without seeing your code?
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

No, probably not. We would have no idea at all what your functions do. Learn how to run your code in the debugger and find out what is going on in your code.
Wes Aday at 4 days ago View

Since we can't see your code or anything as a guess, it might be that you are missing an assembly reference.

If you are going to use database queries and operations, you really should invest the time and effort to learn SQL. SELECT * is a sure sign that you are trying to do something you really should not. Use a WHERE clause to filter your results instead of iterating through your entire table for one username and password. And use parameterized queries.

Help you with what? Before you get help with something, you would first have to have some sort of a problem. You do not have a problem yet. The only answerable question you asked was "is it possible" for which the answer is "yes".

How do you know that the character is not being read? Why are you reading and writing to the same file? Could it be that you are checking the destination file and not seeing your character written there and just assuming that the character is not being read?

Okay so go write it. No one here is going to do your job for you.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 16:21pm View

Yes it is possible.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 16:17pm View

Okay so check the command line for the parameter. What is your actual question?

Maybe you should really do it.

Okay so go ahead and do that. I am not seeing where you would have any kind of a problem.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 13:51pm View

Even in VB6 that was a bad solution. Use the got focus and lost focus events.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 12:30pm View

The only "solution" to this is for you to do your own homework assignment.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 11:25am View

You will have to debug your code and find out where it fails.

No, this is not a job recruitment board.

What sort of "help" would you expect based on this tiny bit of information? Supply the correct path.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 10:50am View

This is just a repost without any new information.

"Guide" to do what exactly? What code have you written? What is the problem with the code that you have written?
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 10:47am View

Not a technical question and off topic.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 10:18am View

Screaming a wrong answer does not help anything.

Check the "scope of programme"? What do you think that means? The "scope of your programme" is that it is incomplete. As already suggested to you, you need to get a decent book on basic programming and work through it.
Wes Aday at 23-Jun-15 9:15am View

One suggestion would be to read the FAQ for hints on how to ask questions, then improve your posting to ask an actual question.

Restating the same thing over and over is not helping. What everyone is trying to tell you is that no one here is going to write this code for you. You either need to write it yourself or hire someone to write it for you.

The best approach? Get the selected color from the combobox and change the form background color. So far, you have not told us what the problem could possibly be with the code you have written....
Wes Aday at 22-Jun-15 15:50pm View

Debug your code yourself. Or, at the very least, describe what it is that you think "not work" means to those of us that cannot read your mind.
Wes Aday at 22-Jun-15 15:44pm View

Why do you have two templates that do the same thing when one will serve the same purpose? DRY. Where in your template is your trigger to change the images?
Wes Aday at 21-Jun-15 11:06am View

It would be the same exact way as any one of the thousands of tutorials would have shown had you bothered to look.

It's not working on the host because the COM component is not registered on the host. The error message tells you that.

Still not a question or a problem and you would still need to ask the administrator for whatever you think yaragasawan is.
Wes Aday at 12-Jun-15 14:58pm View

This is what is called a code dump. It is not a question or a description of a problem. We are not your debugging service. Debug your code, find the exception, research what it means and fix it.
Wes Aday at 12-Jun-15 14:44pm View

Almost sounds like you want to write a proxy server.
Wes Aday at 12-Jun-15 13:58pm View

You should probably be asking whomever the administrator is for whatever yaragasawan is.

Did you search this site? For Winform but should apply equally to WPF, http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/383153/The-Model-View-Controller-MVC-Pattern-with-Csharp
How to create a stored procedure is everywhere.

Search for it yourself or write it yourself.
