Yes where is the batch code that demonstrates your problem and why does using wildcard characters in your search not work?

Your problem is, is that you did not install SQL Server on your target computer.
Wes Aday at 1 hr ago View

No I am not mocking you at all. You have a completely wrong view of how this site works. You rudely demanded that I write your code for you. You have not asked a question. You have not described any kind of a problem. You refused repeated requests for more information in order to help you. And you seem to think that we can see your code, your project your monitor and read your mind. We can't do any of these things.
Wes Aday at 1 hr ago View

Hahaha you are funny. Answer what exactly? You still have not asked any question. Nor have you told us what Choices is, what your table schema is or described an actual problem. Write code for you? Don't be ridiculous.
Wes Aday at 5 hrs ago View

If we are to read this as if the title of your posting is your actual question then CompareTo and MoveNext have functionality because the class that implements those interfaces provide the functionality.

Sorry ... what? Does axWindowsMediaPlayer1.URL = <path to your mp3 file> not work for you?
Wes Aday at 6 hrs ago View

And how would you expect someone that does not know anything about your project to do that? Aside from that, we don't write code to order here. You have not explained any kind of a problem yet. Nor have you ask any kind of a question.
Wes Aday at 6 hrs ago View

Well your first problem is, is that the Visibility property is not a string.
Wes Aday at 7 hrs ago View

Change the SqlDataAdapter to a SqlDataReader, execute your query and fill sList with the result. Or, iterate through the dataset you already have and fill sList with the contents. It's very unclear from your minimalistic posting to guess what the actual problem is, what Choices is or why you can't take the query result and use it.

And you would want help for what? To get any kind of help you would have to have some sort of a problem. "not able to make it work" and "giving me several exceptions" means absolutely nothing to us. We can't see your code, your project or read your mind.
Wes Aday at yesterday View

Okay.... and what is it that you would expect us to do about it?
Wes Aday at yesterday View

There is nothing to "correct" here other than the obvious problem that your code snippet would not compile. "Topstring" is not a valid method call unless you created a method by that name. You probably want ToString(). You have not asked a question or described any kind of a problem.

The biggest question is why you would think that we could answer this to begin with. Why do you think that asking random strangers on the internet, who do not know anything at all about your, your curriculum, your schoolwork, your skill level or your school's requirements, could answer this at all? Why don't you ask the person that you should be asking, your faculty advisor. And before you say it, no we cannot "help". We can only help people that have actual problems.

Try dt = obj.GetDataTable("SELECT * from mobilesubscriberdata1 where m_date='"+ n + "'");
Then go to www.w3schools.com to start learning about SQL.
After that, get yourself a decent book on basic programming and work through it. Not knowing how to construct a simple string suggests a fundamental lack of programming knowledge.
Then do some research on SQL injection attacks to learn why you should not be constructing SQL statements by string concatenation.

Your "question" does not make any sense. A title bar cannot contain a database table. But to retrieve values from a database you would, connect to whatever database you are using, write a query, execute the query, do something with the data if necessary.

It would be exactly the same way that you have already been told how to do this for your winsock controls AND timers.

Well that depends. Are you writing this in VB or VB.NET? Why is this code not working for you? "some problem" means absolutely nothing to anyone but you. Does "some problem" mean that you are not using FileGet correctly and opt contains nothing?
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 17:24pm View

And what code have you written to fulfill your "want"? What was the problem that you have with your code that you have written? Made any effort at all?
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 17:15pm View

Okay so go ahead and do that. Web application is probably not the right way to go but if that is what you want to do, no one I know of is going to stop you. Or, did you have some sort of a question?
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 17:05pm View

Do some research for a proxy server written with python. You don't get what SA is saying because this is not a question or a description of any kind of a problem.
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 17:02pm View

Okay.... just posting a bunch of code without an explanation is not a question or description of any kind of a problem. We can't see your screen to know what it is that you see or read your mind. You need to encode the string so your browser understands it.

You can get a list of the running processes and poll the list until the java application exits but that might not be the best idea.

research "logging" and log4net.
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 15:53pm View

Okay.... and? You seem to be missing a question or a description of some sort of a problem in your posting.
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 13:39pm View

And you still have not told us what the actual problem is.
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 13:30pm View

Yes you can. You need a service or a scheduled task, NOT anything to do with a website.

And the version of SQL Server on your server is? The version on your local system is?
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 11:30am View

"do I need to store my counter in a session"... is that your actual question? Do you want to store that in a session variable? Then go ahead and do that. BTW, your strings will most likely never be null.

Do you not know how to find information for QT? You seem to ask these very basic questions quite frequently. http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qsound.html

You would need to convert your string to a number to get an ordinal sorting.

The error message means exactly what it says. If you "dont want" to use the debugger to find and fix your error, what makes you think that we will?
Wes Aday at 3-Jul-14 9:29am View

You are only going to do the pen and paper bit for very small bits of code. For this specific example, you would do it just like everything else. Write down what the values are line by line and note the changes.

Well debug your code and find the object that is null.

Other than the messed up SQL, it's not very clear what your specific problem could be. You just said that you have a problem without telling us what the problem actually is.

Reposting does not help you. You should actually do some research and write some code. http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/3719/A-C-Scrolling-Text-Control
